Robots takeall of human's works?

Summary

In around year 2040 British expert predicted that a lot of humans will be unemployed because we will brng robots to work instead.
As the time pass by ,things in our world more and more get involves in technology .
On April 21, 2557 Website Express reported that expert British professor and futurist predicted in 2040 or 25 years after this a lot of people will lose their jobs. And some have to work harder. Because humans use more robots instead of working. In the world of technology that is going to transition to the age of Android.

The company employs in the year 2040 will probably all have a big body due to continuous work non stop ,not moving to anywhere else. And they need to be fluent in Chinese Hindi Spanish and Portuguese to be able to communicate with each other internationally .There will be a communication device transplant to the ear. To be able to talk on the phone , listen to music and hear instructions from the boss easily. The model works in the office like today will be gone. When communication is easy Humans can work at home.

And there are some jobs they predicted that don't need human being to do. Call Center will be replace by robots and Taxi Driver will be replace by smart car taxi without driver, by using Google map to command where to go. Or even milking cow ,we don't need a worker to know the time table and come milking cows everytime anymore.

Major concepts

  • In the year of 2040 or less many humans will be unemployed because of robots take over their places
  • Everything will be robotic and we all have to improve ourselves to be better than those robots

Advantages

  • These robots will be very useful to many people. We will get to work less than normal , saves alot of times ,reduce the cost of operations ,working more efficient and accurate ,can work whole day 24 hours ,can work with something that humans can't do such as working with dangerous chemicals and many other things
  • Many people will try harder to get jobs because in the future every jobs that are left for humans will require advance skills

Disadvantages

  •   There will be so many people lossing their jobs no money and finally become homeless
  •  Robots may pollute the environments if we're using it in a wrong way

  •  Robots are expensive high investment make certain industry cannot bring robots to help in the work

Comment

Maybe this can be something that we thought it was fantasy but it could be real which is war. Even world nowadays there are so many people don't have jobs already so many people are starving and dying ,if we develop into the age that everything must use high knowledge .Even normal people that have a good education still can't find a jobs because they require something higher than that to work with those artificial intelligence what about people who don't even have a chance to go to school ? There are so many people like that in our world . All those hardships will finally become inspiration and turn into dissatisfied feeling and want their normal life back ,people do not want everything to be robotic. It will eventually becomes kind of civil war fighting between jobless people and intellectual people because they will not lose their benefits for sure for those rich people with robots.
From above was just one of my idea maybe its not going to be like what i said at all it depends on how we develop these robots , to a selfish way or collective way. Technically its not robot that put we all out of works but Artificial Intelligence. Robots just do what they were ordered physically but AI they can do everything like humans.

HeartBleed Bug (OpenSSL flaw)

Heartbleed Bug is a flaw that happens in OpenSSL ,the open-source encryption standard . Normally most of famous websites and bank's websites there will be security system when a connection - Transfer data between us and the sites all data will encrypted into numbers or letters that people cannot understand . And we must have the right decoding key to be able to change the encrypted data back to normal again . But this Heartbleed bug flaw making hackers can break through security systems and able to get Username Password can post update or transactions all under our names .

"This flaws might one of the most dangerous leak in the history of internet "

*SSL = Security Sockets Layer is the main principles of security used a mathematical model to calculate, easy to understand .
*TLS = Transport Layer Security is a protocol that ensures privacy between communicating applications and their users on the Internet. When communicating between client and sever TLS ensures that no third party eavesdrop or interfere with any information. It is something thats similar to SSL but newer version.

Heartbleed Bug 's OpenSSL vulnerability , which is a software that is widely used as the basic software for SSL / TLS encryption to send data, HTTPS, VPN and other traffic encryption .
Discovered vulnerabilities Heartbleed considered " punch in the heart " destroy the credibility of the data transmission through SSL/TLS  drastically (in proportion to the OpenSSL) because accession to data that we used to think it's safe is not as safe as we previously thought. And OpenSSL controls around 66% of websites on the internet.

(National Security Agency or NSA got mocked that they use this heartbleed bug to get citizen's privacy zone too )

Basic encryption

First, we must understand the basics of data encryption first. Encryption in the present is often used  "Asymmetric key pair" which is a randomly generated key out two simultaneously (Private and Public keys)

Public key is sent out to the public, such as the Internet (in terms of security is untrusted space) the private key will be stored only in user's devices (perceived as trusted or. safe space)

When A wants to send information to B under this  encoding the public key of A to B (on the Internet) mixed with the "data" that want to be sent. For not to be read by anyone else except the B that has the pair of keys which is private key that is with B.

Reliability of this kind of data encryption depends on reliability in keeping the private key that use to be a tool to encrypt the code .

The operation of SSL / TLS

How SSL / TLS work is based on the concept of asymmetric encryption key pair . But the concept of " certificates " up to confirm the identity of the recipient

Certification process requires a "middleman " in order to confirm the identity . The middle man is being called (Certification Authority or CA) supporting the entire process . And we call all this as  Public-Key Infrastructure or PKI

The HeartBleed problem

The standard of SSL/TLS will have one option called "Heart Beat" to make computer of either side send short message to computer at another side to check that its still online .

And the problem of Open-SSL that we call heatbleed is that Open-SSL make a mistake open a chance for computer in another side can send message in special format , when the other side receive this message it will send the extra data back (that's in the memory)

Effects of Heartbleed bug

Heartbleed was fixed in the lastest version of OpenSSL already which is just by updating version or install patch.

But the point is nobody knows that how many private keys that passed through OpenSSL since 2012 by Heartbleed bug and what websites that got hacked.

When the private key is leaking out now it makes the data thats using this key not safe (such as websites password , Credit card number). The hackers will be able to access to our information and do anything like they are us. Probably all the OpenSSL websites got affected unconsciously.

And these are some websites that have to change the password or should change the password .
  • Facebook - did not find evidence that it got hacked using this bug.But it is recommended that users should change their password.
  • Tumblr - did not find the evidence. Recommended to change password.
  • Google - Google said that it got affected for some services, such as Gmail, YouTube, Play, Apps, App Engine but not for Chrome, Chrome OS.
  • Yahoo! (Including Yahoo mail)
  • Amazon Web Services
  • GoDaddy
  • Dropbox
  • LastPass
  • SoundCloud
To prevent this bug we should change all the OpenSSL websites passwords to make sure that its safe.

What do I learn from this

This bug was found since 2012 but it was ignored and now in 2014  somebody hacked the bank account and it becomes a big topic to talk about on the social world again . This problem teaches us that we always overlook something that we thought it wasn't something so necessary to care about and see how important it is when it cause a problem . Now it is hard to fix this bug now because we dont know how many websites got affected and how many private keys are leaked out (Match with this proverb "lock the stable door after the horse has bolted")

Deep detail explain about HeartBleed bug

Database Note

What is database?
  • An organized collection of information.
    • Telephone books .
    • Collection of possessions.
    • Customers,employees, and orders
  • Tools to analyze your data
    • Sorting using tables
    • Extracting what you want to see using Forms and Queries
    • Summarizing it using Reports
Tables
  • Table is a collection of information, organized into
    • Fields: the columns in the table (name, address, phone, number)
    • Records: the rows in the table
    • Data values: the actual information itself
Excel (Flat files) Vs. Access (Relational Databases)
  • A phone book is a "flat file"(just a list of info)
    • That's what differentiates Access and Excel.
  • A" relational database" prevents duplicate information.
    • It's efficient and less prone to errors.
  • In flat files, repeated information are kept in the same place.
 Relational Databases
  • Example it works with 3 different types
Primary Keys and Foreign Keys
  • Need to add some techinique to the table structure
  • Primary Key is a unique identifier for each record in the table
  • These primary keys become Foreign Keys (AKA common fields)
  • Linking related information between 2 or more tables
  • It's the field that both tables have in common and it;s allowed user to gather data from both when the user taking order,or run report.
Relationships
  • The connection between Primary Keys and Foreign Keys
    • One-to-many
  •  1 record in the first table has multiple occurrences in the table .
  • There are more types but one-to-many is common.
Data Types
  • Every field needs a Data Type so that Access knows how to manage it
    • Auto Number - Sequentially increments each record
      • Commonly used as a Primary Key Field
  • Text = for alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers)
  • Number - numbers that you calculate
  • Currency - for financial information ($)
  • Date/Time - for date and times
  • Yes/No - for either / or scenarios
  • Attachments - allow you to associate files from other programs such as Word or Excel
  • Hyperlinks - for emails and websites URLs
  • Memo - for long commentary (for taking notes)
  • Calculations - do math based on data in your other fields
  • Lookups - get data from other tables
Normalization
  • Design your database according to accepted standards
    • Use smallest meaningful values possible
    • (split "Name" into Last Name and First Name for easier sorting )
    • (split "Address" into Street,City ,State,Zip)
  •  Separate repeated groups of data
    • If you see the same information more than once ,those fields should be moved into a second table, and linked through a conmmon ID field
  •  Plan Ahead!

Throwing Camera Panonomic

Panono Camera Ball

Panono Camera Ball is an imaging device that has a sphere shape with a diameter of 11 cm and a weight of only 300 g. External material made of plastic but actually inside of it consists of a total of 36 cameras that will take pictures at the same time when we throw it up in the sky. And it will has a software to take an images connect them together form a panorama 108 megapixel image, it will not only can view the images on the left  right but also top and bottom too.

For how to view image they will have the app specifically for this. Users can view images in a portable device with apps which are displayed varies according to the orientation of the device ,example like. The user holds the tablet horizontal screen facing up it will shows in the photo looking down below. If you hold the tablet vertically and facing north. I can see the photos in the north . And will sell out around 2015.

Major Concepts

  • The camera is easy and fun to use which is by just throwing it up in the sky.
  • The images that come out will be like panorama but more more special that we it's 360 degree.

Advantages

  • Throw able which makes the user having fun when taking the image. It will be so fun taking picture with friends 360 degrees.
  • How to get an image is suitable for world now aday by using application on phone.
  • Price not so expensive compare to other normal camera which is about 550 US Dollar or around 18000 Thai Baht .

Disadvantages

  • By throwing it up in the sky what if we can't catch it and drop on the floor ,plastic might be easy to break. And can the water gets in if we accidentally  drop it in the water.
  • From the sphere shape it's going to a little bit hard to maintain it like other camera because if we put it on the table its going to roll around fall to somewhere.

Discussion Question

  • I think this Camera ball will be so popular for sure after it releases to the world but after that about a year its rating will drop down because it's not that interesting and something completely new and normal people who don't have a jobs or things relate to this won't be using it. Most of it will only popular in adults ages because i don't think people around 30 up will walk around on the street and tossing this ball up in the sky .
  • When taking a picture i don't think everyone are going replace this in their bag instead of normal camera because people still wont with normal camera and their phone also can take a picture too.

中國新年 Chinese New Year 2014

At first we were assigned to make poster about Chinese New Year that's coming up in couple a days by using 3 programs 1:Adobe InDesign 2:Adobe Illustrator 3:Adobe Photoshop .First i used Adobe Photoshop for edit and put pictures ,background and text most of my work is done using Photoshop 85% and used Adobe Illustrator to edit texts Fonts and some pictures ,make them look more like Chinese theme. And finally InDesign i actually use just a little of it to arrange the picture but i think that Photoshop is much easier to use. And then done , i saved it as pdf file and print out but its quality wasn't so good because i used a small picture and i maximize it too much so it shows pixels in the background.

10 ways to create a learning culture (Article Review)

Summary:

This article is about the teacher who hasn't been teaching any students for about 40 years and come back to teach again and still stick with the old ways of teaching. But after that she changed her perspective about how to treat children these days in a proper way.It all started in New Year 2011 , new year new ways of teaching

Major Concepts:

1:The Author shared her story about teaching styles that have changed a lot from 30 years ago and now it changed her too.

2:Teacher should knows everyone personalities and so they can be more understanding .And makes students can feel like teacher is like their another parent can trust and be there when they need someone.

Advantages:

1:All the ways of teaching list that she has made shows how we should treat the student , we should be more understanding to them rather than make them do every homework assignments without asking what's going in their life how do they feels.

Disadvantages:

1:Teacher can laugh and enjoy the class with students but make sure tat they don't play till they disrespect you. Relationship between children and teacher should be more like Senior and Junior can play with each other but with respect too.

2:Teacher must be part of the classroom too ,because some teachers they just do only their own business writing on the and talking with it without caring what's going on in the class

3:Support the student to ask the questions because some students they are just too scared of the teacher look and afraid that they will punish cause that student didn't listen to the teacher so the student will finally ask with their friends and get the wrong information and got a bad score.

Question:
1: If the Author started the article with "I realise how much teaching and learning have changed" does it mean that before this 30 years they have never had teach like this before ?
